In fact, we pride ourselves on being located in one of the most delightful parts of the area; the Victorian seaside town of Silloth, tucked away on the shores of Solway Firth – the dividing estuary between England and Scotland.

This means that, not only will you be in close proximity to the Lake District’s most famous sites and attractions, but just a stone’s throw from the beach and all the seaside delights that come with it, as well as a short distance away from Scotland!

The Lakes

Set on the northern border of the Lake District National Park, North Lakes offers the perfect blend of easy access to the area's most famous lakes, with the peace and tranquillity of being away from the hustle and bustle of tourism.

For example, we are just a half-hour drive away from Bassenthwaite Lake, an hour away from Ullswater Lake (universally agreed to be the most beautiful of the lakes, with lots to see and do), and an hour and a half or so from Windermere Lake – and a few steps away from uninterrupted views of our very own 22-acre lake!

So, if you’re looking for static caravans in the Lake District, North Lakes is the place to be!

The Coast

Silloth sits just four short miles away from North Lakes Country Park, with the Solway Coast just a half an hour’s drive further!

Silloth’s Victorian seaside town alone boasts all you could want from a beach trip – from the stunning sands of Silloth West Beach to the beautiful sights of East Cote Lighthouse.

What’s more, The Solway Coast is known as area of outstanding natural beauty for its breath-taking coastline, flourishing nature reserves and historic hamlets.
